the one behind the pencil
In high school, I ended up too involved in other activities to pursue art in any mainstream way, so in order to keep it up on the side I decided to have a go at doing caricatures of my teachers as year-end gifts. Suffice it to say, it became something of a tradition, and as others over the years have continued to asked me for commissions, I am now accepting them.
I now hold a major in Cognitive Science and Applied Linguistics and am an authority on caricature theory and its extensions in the fields of biopsychology, psychopathology, political science, and forensics, from which I base the workshops and course I offer. I've studied under caricaturist Katherine Hilden at the EAC and am a Certified Member of the ISCA (International Society of Caricature Artists). I can't wait to work with you.
